Never meant to last: Rise and fall of Visby
"Visby, once a center for trade in the Baltic Sea. A wealthy place, with a mighty ring wall surrounding the city, full of bustling commerce and stone churches. But that would not last forever.
A series of disasters, a civil war, the plague and the brutal attack by the Danish king Valdemar Atterdag caused Visby to lose its importance. Soon, Lübeck took over the city's role as the leading trade hub in the region."
Through this song, we wanted to bring the history of Visby to life, but also a reminder of how quickly everything can change.

Gutasagan: Tjelvars legacy
"The Guta Saga is one of the oldest recorded legends of the Nordic world. It tells of Gotland, the island that, according to myth, rose from the sea at night and sank again by day until Tjelvar arrived with fire and broke the enchantment. The saga also speaks of the three ancestral lines from which all Gutnish people are said to descend. In our song, we bring this ancient tale to life through music that captures the mystery and the island's rise from the depths."

Visby Ringwall
"The Visby Ring Wall still stands today, just as calm and powerful as when its first stones were laid in the 13th century. Through the centuries it has witnessed the city's wealth, its rise and decline, as well as darker chapters of civil war and invasion. Yet it endures. A silent guardian shaped by centuries of history. Our song pays tribute to this ancient wall and its steadfast presence."
